Stone Sheep, one of the premier species to hunt in British Columbia.
Big Stone Rams are abundant in the Northern Rocky Mountains foothills. We hunt the upper Muskwa and the Tuchodi River for Stone Sheep. You will be taken by Jet boat to within easy hiking distance of the rams you wish to hunt. Some rams are taken only a few miles from the Tuchodi River.
The ever-expanding Elk herd in Northeast BC provides you with an unsurpassed opportunity to hunt Trophy Quality Bulls. The rut begins in early September and continues into early October. Numerous quality campsites exist throughout the area. You can hunt right from your base camp or fly camp out in the hills. Be prepared to see lots of Elk.
Big Bull Moose are abundant on the Muskwa River from mid September on. Quads and Argos can be used in some areas and can be hauled up river for an extra fee. Some of these Moose areas are seldom hunted. As the rut approaches, the Bulls can be easily called into areas close to the river.
The region supports healthy herds of Mountain Goats which may be selectively harvested. Hunters need to be in good shape to pursue these mountain monarchs. Mountain Caribou are also available and can be hunted in a number is select locations. There are excellent opportunities to hunt the large population of Wolves in the area.
